The Halliday House is a sanctuary for the modern wanderer seeking the privacy of a personal estate and the solace of a wild garden. Designed for complete autonomy, our doors open to a self-directed pace. We provide the atmosphere for your slow mornings, creative resets, and the effortless unfolding of the day. Here, our home is merely the backdrop; the experience is the life you live within it.
Our property is composed of three distinct dwellings accommodating 10 guests, each offering a unique perspective on the gardens and a shared commitment to refined hospitality. We operate on the belief that a guest should never feel like a transient visitor, but rather a temporary custodian of a shared home.
We strip away the formal barriers of hospitality (the "front desk" energy). Instead, we prioritize the tactile—the gardens being slowly restored, the weight of the flatware, the scent of the back garden, and the comfort of a well-placed armchair.

We are remote, be aware there may be occasional wildlife on property. Snakes, Scorpions, Lizards, Hummingbirds, Butterflies, Hawks, Coyotes, Cows, Javelinas, etc.
The Living Area
Our living area features an open concept living/dining area with an Studio Beit coffee table anchoring the living room, and artwork by local artists, and heritage family pieces.
The Kitchen
The kitchen features a rustic handmade pine cabinetry, large farmhouse sink, electric stove/oven, and a backsplash handmade when my mom was pregnant with my step sister.
Note: Entire Property runs on Well Water, Please consider bringing drinking water. We provide (2) complimentary water bottles.
The Yellow BedRoom

The Yellow Room features a unique aesthetic and palette complementary to the surrounding landscape. The Private Room features two side tables, accent lighting by The MD Objective, a decanter for water, and 100% cotton linens.
The Red BedRoom

The Red Room features two king-sized beds tailored for multiple guests with a small seating area, and en suite. Anchored by a small seating area, the room features a unique elements, accent lighting, and 100% cotton linens with a private ensuite.
The Garden Room

The Hummingbird Room features a single king-sized bed with a small bistro style seating area, kitchenette, and en suite. Anchored by air purifying lime-washed walls, the room features a unique elements, accent lighting, and 100% cotton linens.
The Bathrooms
The three bathrooms feature a bathtub/shower combo with a single sink. Our property features 100% organic Ferie Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash and complementary make-up linens as our property runs off a septic system.
Note: The entire water for the property is triple filtered and is drinkable.
The Grounds
The 1.4 acre property during daylight features a diverse landscape varied with grasslands, rock formations, nearby desert creeks, and mountainous valleys, while during the evening, the dark sky community allows us to stargaze into the wee hours of the night.
The communal spaces on the property are all exterior with no separation between residences. You are encouraged to lie in the grass, eat dinner outside, slip into the rhythms of the land and feel free to say hello and let us know how social / solitary you might want your time to be.
